Guild aim:
Focus on 25-man raiding guild.
Guild status at the moment:
Right now we are composed of around 15 raid ready players. We are looking to recruit 10-15 more players. We have been raiding 10-man as a temporary measure and it has been successful. Our aim is 25-man raiding.
Who we are:
The origin of our core comes from the guild Humble(old GM, council and senior members). Not in its current state, but rather when it was a successful 25man raiding guild back in WOTLK. The guild strictly did 10-man raids in Cataclysm. These days Humble is no longer a raiding guild. Rather than taking it back we are starting under a new name. <Empire>
What we offer:
We offer semi-casual 25-man raiding.
What does semi-casual mean?
It means that we do not have a hardcore raiding schedule, but we do value taking the raids seriously.
What this really means is:
-Structured comprehensive raid leading
-Raiders taking care of their gear and spec
-Raiders being informed about their class and the raid encounters
-Performing well
In a nutshell, solid raiding.
We have the experience, we have done it before with the same formula in WOTLK. It works.
We will be raiding 3 times a week for a period of about 3 hours each raid.
Days to be determined once the 25-man raids begin.
Motivation for 25-man raiding
After the 10-man experience in Cataclysm we now choose to go back to the 25-man experience.
The most important reason being that we find it more fun and more interesting.
There's just something about a big raid that a small one cannot recreate.
It's way more alive, it's more dynamic, the encounters are more interesting, there is more loot per head and the distribution is better, the atmosphere of a big group, people learning from one another, representation of nearly all classes/specs in your raid, ...
I could go on but it would become a wall of text.
One last thing there is to say is that the roster is easier to maintain for a 25-man. One of two people being afk will not affect your raid much and swaps are easily made.
What we expect from you
-You want to raid 25-man in a solid manner.
-You are able to attend nearly all the raids. 3 times a week for a period of 3 hours. (80% + attendancy)
-You take care of your gear and spec. You are informed on your class and raid encounters.
-You are able to at least listen on voice chat. Speaking as well is preferred.
-You have a friendly and constructive attitude.
