Character name / Class / Role / Spec(s):
Fingolfïn / Death Knight / Tank (DPS) / Blood/Frost (Armory)
Harù / Monk / Healer (DPS) / Mistweaver/Windwalker (Armory)
Personal:
I'm a 22 year old boy from Norway. I'm studying Sports Science and exercise regularly, playing video games, watching series, doing stuffs with friends....etc.
About WoW:
I have played WoW since January 2006, starting with a Rogue, switched to Paladin in TBC, then to DK in Wotlk and the DK stayed as my main until MoP.
Past raiding experience:
In vanilla, I didn't do much raiding, mostly PvP (I did a few bosses in Molten Core, and some more in ZG).
In TBC, I did some more raiding (Karazhan, Gruul etc.), but here also mostly PvP.
In Wotlk I started some more "serious" raiding, I joined a guild I really loved and stayed with it until the end of Cataclysm. We did Naxxramas, ToC, Ulduar (Up to Yogg'Saron) and ICC. I'm not bragging, but I did were on the top 3 on DPS in the ICC period.
In Cataclysm I started to level a shaman, and started to raid with him as a healer. Still in the same guild, we did BoT, BWD, Firelands (Up to Ragnaros) and I joined some shots in the early stages of Dragon Soul, but then took a longer break from WoW, for personal reasons.
After the break I have not done much raiding (apart from LFR), and I taught that I could have an opportunity to start over again now, in a new expansion.
Addons you use for raiding & in general):
Standard:
- DBM
- Recount
- Omen
- Quartz
- TauntMaster (as tank)
- Helium (as healer)
Are you able to use voice chat? (Ventrilo)
Yes. I Have lots of experience with Ventrilo, Teamspeak, Skype etc. Also have a headset, with mic.
Describe the kind of player you think you are (in a raid context)
I'm a player who loves helping others if i'm able to, I'm mature, but also love having a good laugh and being social. I believe i'm a fast learner, I take things serious when they need to be, and im patient.
Motivation for joining:
The main reason for joining is to get the feeling I had with my former raiding guild (the one I talked about earlier, it dissolved and I switched realm). Since then everything has been a bit messy, me and a friend tried to start our own guild, but it didn't turn out to be quite the success we hoped for, and I tried to join some random guilds, but I didn't find them very pleasing. The one I'm currently in for example, is the most silent guild I have ever seen in WoW...
I want to try to raid with a guild again (LFR is not the same) and being able to do progress in this expansion (which I find very exciting). It also seems like this guild is what I'm looking for, considering the reason that you are casuals. I cant afford to put whole days into the game anymore, since I'm studying (though I do play more in the weekends), so this guild seems good because you can put a few serious hours in the game, when needed.
Extra:
Well....what can I say. Apart from raiding, I have done a lots of things trough the years. Since Wotlk, I have been kinda like an "achievement whore", and I have done a lot of leveling and have every class in 85 (apart from my 90's). Hope that you consider me as a good resource to your guild.
Thank you.
