Character name: Sallys
Role: Main Healer OS DPS
Talents: I will here explain shortly why i choose/have these talents atm but these are all situational on different situations
[Celerity] for more mobility in raids. it helps me with many things in raids, like moving away from stuff or just changing position fast makes me heal more instead of moving around. It can be switched with [Momentum]
[Chi Wave] for more raidhealing and the instant cast makes it easier than [Chi Burst] imo. i feel monks have too less chi spenders and this is a good spell to use when u need stacks of mana tea.
[Chi Brew] for more chi and good in ''oh shit'' situations + more mana tea stacks
[Leg Sweep] this tier is about stuns but i feel like this is the best one for healers, has shorted cd
[Diffuse Magic] really good for survivability! and a self debuff includes! really good in some fights.
[Chi Torpedo] mainly but [Rushing Jade Wind] in aoe healings. Also really situational!
Glyphs: Glyphs are also very situational!
[Glyph of Mana Tea] for instant cast instead of a channeling spell makes me have more mobility!
[Glyph of Uplift] for more improved raidhealing. i feel monks do not do that good raidhealing without this glyph
[Glyph of Renewing Mist] for better raidhealing in spreaded position but i change this glyph with [Glyph of Spinning Crane Kick] if we need more aoeheals.
Stat priority: Spirit > Haste (1345) > Intellect > Mastery > Crit > Haste
Personal:
Name: Yongmin Lee
Country: Sweden (korean blood)
age: 21
Im a musicstudent at Royal College of Music in Stockholm and study Violin Bachelor. Started with the violin since i was 4 and cant stop
Im a social guy that likes to be with friends and also likes BEER! I like these things but i also love computer games. Started my gaming with Starcraft Broodwar (like many other koreans)
here is a CV that is written by my maneger if you are interested!
Yong-Min Lee, born in Sweden of Korean parents Jan. 31, 1991, started his life as a violinist at the age of 4 – in front of the TV…
Overwhelmed by the virtuosity of some notorious violinist – god knows his name – he convinced his parents (or was it the other way around?) to invest in some musical education. Saturday school it should be, at the Junior Music Academy Lilla Akademien Stockholm. Yong-Min found his ”second home” and graduated spring 2010. Autumn 2010 he entered at the Royal College of Music Stockholm – Dpt. Edsberg where he studies for Per Enoksson, first concert master of the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra.
Yong-Min participated in several master classes, e.g. with Zakhar Bron.
Yong-Min’s natural talent for the violin has been rewarded both by several scholarships such as the Royal Music Academy’s Welinstipendium 2010, and prizes at international competitions such as the Danish Berlingske.
With Trio91 he won anno 2009 the “Swedish Chamber Music Prize” – Musik Direkt/Jeunesses Musicales and “Best Swedish Youth Ensemble” – RUM.
As member of the violingroup Violinissimo, he has given numerous concerts in Sweden, Estonia, Italy and lately China, where he even played solo. He was appointed first concert master in the Nordic Youth Orchestra (2010 and 2011) where he also performed as a soloist.
Past raiding experience:
I havent actually been raiding that much seriously, i feel like i never had a real chance. I always end up with a casual guild that has too few members.
In Cata i was an officer for a 10man guild called Vendetta and played as dk maintank. These times were very stressful as an officer with members that only thinks of gear and no attendants. It made me leave the game. we killed 2 bosses in Bastion of Twilight and 4 in Blackwing decent.
I have also raided as Holy priest in Naxx but the same thing: never got a guild for a real raiding experience.
Addons you use for raiding & in general):
Shadow units frames
Bartender
DBM
Healbot
Quartz 3
Recount
Simple Chibar
Are you able to use voice chat? (Ventrilo)
I can listen and speak(or not speak if raidleader told me to)!
Describe the kind of player you think you are (in a raid context).
Im an active player that strives for progression and not loothorny. I look for theroycrafting and forums everyday about my class and other raid topics.
Im also a really quicklearner and makes almost no mistakes 1-2 times. Tacts and those stuff are ofc a must before raids.
Now that i have been an officer in a casual guild, i can understand how to be a good member.
Extra:
The reason why i want to leave my current guild(Ancients of Insanity, they are really nice guys and really fun to raid with!) is because they raid for gear, not for progression. All i want is being able to clear a raid content that i perhaps never have done before.
Motivation for joining:
I would like to have a good raiding enviroment with mature and nice persons!
